How Funds Are Used   |   Capital Projects   |  Community Outreach

Since its creation in 1985, the NMH Foundation has directed millions of dollars to the Hospital. Funds raised by the Foundation have enabled the NMH to become the highly respected provider of care that it is.

With the help of the community, the Foundation has directed more than $10 million to expand and improve facilities as well as services and programs. A primary goal of the Newton Memorial Foundation is to reach out to the community by providing programs that promote wellness and assure the health of residents.

One of the ways we plan to assure the financial stability in the future that will allow us to grow is to build our endowment fund. When this fund reaches our goal of $20 million, we will make grants of over $1 million a year for capital advancement and program initiation.

Today, we now look to spend as much time and energy keeping people healthy outside the hospital as we do caring for them in the hospital.

Therefore, the Foundation plans to direct increased resources towards wellness initiatives within the community.

With your support, we will be securing healthier tomorrows, today.
